On May 16, 2026 from 8:28 PM to 9:35 PM PDT (~67 minutes), the Embed API (Marengo 3.0 - Video) and Index/Upload API (Marengo 3.0) experienced a major outage. Customers attempting to embed videos, search using Marengo 3.0, or upload/index videos received HTTP 500 errors. The issue was caused by a server failure with no redundant fallback. Our team identified and resolved the issue and immediately increased server redundancy to prevent recurrence. No data was lost.
