On April 24, 2026, customers experienced errors when using the TwelveLabs Search API. The issue was caused by unexpected memory pressure on a core infrastructure component, which caused search requests to return errors instead of results.

[Impact]
Affected: Search API (POST /search) — requests returned HTTP 500 errors
Also affected: Deleting indexes and assets returned HTTP 500 errors during the window
Duration: 29 minutes (2:05 AM – 2:34 AM PST)

[Resolution]
The affected infrastructure component was scaled up to restore service. Additional safeguards have been put in place to prevent recurrence.
